The Southern Miss Lady Eagles women's basketball team represents the University of Southern Mississippi in women's basketball. The school competes in the Sun Belt Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Lady Eagles play home basketball games at Reed Green Coliseum in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

El equipo femenino de baloncesto de la Universidad del Sur de Misisipi, también conocido como Southern Miss Golden Eagles, es un equipo deportivo que representa al Colegio de Artes y Letras en la División I de la NCAA. Compiten en la Conferencia de Estados Unidos, y su sede está en el Reed Green Coliseum de Hattiesburg, Misisipi.

El programa de baloncesto femenino de Southern Miss se estableció en 1974. El equipo ha ganado tres campeonatos de la Sun Belt Conference, en 1990, 1991 y 1992. También ha llegado a cuatro torneos de la NCAA, su última aparición en 1993.

El equipo está dirigido por la entrenadora Joye Lee-McNelis, quien está en su segunda temporada en el cargo. Lee-McNelis anteriormente entrenó en la Universidad de Arkansas-Little Rock, donde llevó al equipo a dos apariciones en el torneo de la NCAA.

Las Golden Eagles son lideradas por la escolta senior Britney Anderson, quien es la máxima anotadora del equipo. La base junior Shonte Hailes también es una jugadora clave para Southern Miss.
